Planning Application 20/01626/FULM

Following the Extraordinary Meeting of the Parish Council on Wednesday 30 September 2020 the following actions have been taken.

One

An open residents letter has been delivered to 81 residents directly affected by the planning application on Eastfield Lane, Holly Tree Croft and Kerver Lane. The letter has also been placed on the Parish Council website and notice board on York Street.

Two

The Parish Council has applied to CoYC for an extension of time to respond to the application from 27 October 2020 but this has been rejected.

Three

The services of the current planning consultant to the Parish Council have been engaged to prepare a full response to the application on our behalf.

We would like to thank those of you for taking the time to contact us with your comments. These will all be considered when the Parish Council is preparing its own response. Unless there is anything of a personal or very specific nature we do not intend to respond to everyone individually other than by way of an acknowledgement. We will provide updates via the PC website and notice board.

If anyone in the Parish still wishes to comment on the application to the Parish Council they can do so via the contact page on the Parish Council website or by writing to the Parish Clerk, Julie Bone, at 43 St James Close, Rawcliffe, York, YO30 5WL (01904 672199).

Do not however just rely on submitting your comments to the Parish Council as these will be included in one response to the application in the name of the Parish Council only. If you feel strongly enough about the application then you need to do so yourself direct to CoYC by 27 October 2020.

At the present time there are around a dozen residents comments already posted on the CoYC planning portal in response to the application. If you want to comment you can do so by one of the following means:
