Continuing to boost biodiversity in Dunnington

Dunnington Cemetery

The Parish Council would like to thank the enthusiastic band of volunteers who undertook more hedge planting in Dunnington Cemetery on Sunday 16 January.

The hedges we planted last year are all coming along nicely and we’ve planted some more saplings in the gaps in the eastern hedge.

Thanks to the Green Initiatives Group and Treemendous for co-ordinating this work and to everyone who helped on Sunday.

The great thing about these working parties, apart from the chat, is that they produce lots of new ideas too.

Our next hedge planting efforts will be in Julia’s Garden in the spring.
