Yorkshire Water Hosepipe Ban

Residents will be aware that the hosepipe ban by Yorkshire Water came in to force on Friday 26 August.

The In Bloom Team have been in touch with Yorkshire Water to ask for advice about watering the hanging baskets and barrels in the village.

They have been assured that they can water the baskets and barrels up to three times a week so you will continue to see them using the electric water bowser along York Street, Church Street and Common Road.
